Japan Understood may earn a commission when you buy or book through clearly marked affiliate links. This does not change your price. Commercial relationships do not determine our conclusions.
How links are marked
A commercial page contains a disclosure before its first commercial link. Each action also says “Affiliate link” when tracking is active. While a program is pending approval, the action points to the official site without affiliate tracking and says “Official site.”
How we choose
We compare suitability, published features, total commitment, restrictions, cancellation or return terms, and the reader’s use case. A higher commission does not make an offer the right choice.
What we do not claim
We do not imply personal testing, travel, purchases, or learning results that have not occurred. Seller testimonials are not treated as independent proof. Prices, inventory, and program terms are rechecked, but the destination site remains authoritative at checkout.
